The Weeping Forsythia is a deciduous flowering shrub that produces a gorgeous show of bright yellow blooms during the spring. They are low-maintenance, drought-tolerant and fast-growing, getting to three to nine feet high and wide in no time. They can easily be trained to serve as a privacy wall and also do well for erosion control. Forsythia blooms are also very popular with bees and butterflies. This ornamental shrub makes for a great addition to any garden. They prefer full sun to partial shade.
