The Japanese amur maple tree will set your yard ablaze in the fall with beautiful red and orange leaves. They’re small- to medium-sized trees that serve as great windbreaks and have a wide zone range, preferring zones 3 through 8. Amur maples are a top bonsai specimen. Please note that these seeds will need a period of cold stratification to aid with germination.
