Purple gomphrenas, also known as globe amaranths, are one of my favorite flowering plants. Their globe-shaped flowers resemble clovers and they bloom for much of the year. They can certainly brighten up your garden landscape. The flowers and stems can also be harvested and make great additions to flower arrangements.
